In 1995 the leading ear, nose, and throat doctors in Colorado Springs came together to form Colorado Otolaryngology Associates (COA). In 2014, Dr. Whinery joined CENT&A, and in 2017 CENT&A and Drs. Baswell and Caplan of Colorado Springs Allergy & Asthma Clinic merged together. At the end of 2017, one of the founding members, Dr. Romett, retired, and Dr. Baswell retired in mid-2018. Dr. Keller joined the practice in the fall of 2018, and Dr. Yohanan retired at the end of the same year. Dr. Pruitt, one of the founding members, retired in mid-2018. In the fall of 2020, two physicians joined the practice: Dr. Webber, an allergist, and Dr. Beckmann, an ENT. In the spring of 2021, CENT&A closed its NorthCare location and opened up its St. Peregrine office. Combined with Audubon, the two main locations have over 24,000 square feet of clinical space to serve the Southern Colorado community.
