PRIMARY CARE PARTNERS, INC.
PRIMARY CARE PARTNERS, INC.
Grand Junction, Colorado
100-499 employees
Primary Care Partners offers its patients a true medical home as part of a wide range of medical services available to area residents of Grand Junction, Colorado. Having a medical home means patients can look to their physician to help them navigate a very complex medical world when they are in need of medical care. It reduces confusion, and more importantly, provides them with support and reassurance. Included in the partnership are four family physician groups, a pediatrics group, mammography, x ray, a laboratory, nutritional services and diabetic education, an after-hours non-urgent care clinic, acupuncture services, physical therapy and sports medicine. Also embedded into the family practice groups, and led by your physician, are care coordinators who help more chronically-ill patients manage their care; as well as behaviorists who can address emotional/mental problems that block progress in managing your health. We also offer assistance for smoking cessation, as well as health & wellness coaching. Our Patient Portal offers patients online services such as scheduling appointments, requesting prescription refills, getting lab test results, and the ability to ask medical questions of their provider team. This translates into more convenience for the patient and more efficiency for our practices. The more patients engage with their providers and partner with them in their care, the better the outcomes. Primary Care Partners is a recognized leader in practice innovations towards more effective, cost-efficient health care.

We are woven into the communities we serve through our Board of Directors, Foundation Board and Advisory Boards in every community where we have an office. Philanthropy is key to helping support the mission and is raised through grants, individual and corporate gifts, events and support from our retail businesses – Spoons bistro & bakery, Heirlooms for Hospice, Charmed by Heirlooms. Our unique retail outlets help to support our mission through the generosity of the communities we serve. We’re proud of our tradition of collaboration and innovation with our generous communities. In 1995 the leading ear, nose, and throat doctors in Colorado Springs came together to form Colorado Otolaryngology Associates (COA). At that time, the practice was comprised of the following six doctors: Drs. Ernster, Hohengarten, Knox, Pruitt, Olson and Romett. Initially, the doctors practiced in a number of separate locations, but, in 2000, they combined into a single office in the Audubon Medical Campus at Union and Circle. That same year, Dr. Galloway joined the practice. In 2006, two of the founding doctors of COA, Drs. Hohengarten and Olson, retired. Dr. Davis joined COA in 2007, and in 2008, to meet the increasing needs of a growing Colorado Springs, COA opened a second location in the NorthCare Pavilion adjacent to the St. Francis Medical Center at Woodmen and Powers. In 2011, COA merged with Drs. Cichon, Smith, and Yohanan of the Colorado Center for Otolaryngology to form Colorado ENT & Allergy (CENT&A). In 2014, Dr. Whinery joined CENT&A, and in 2017 CENT&A and Drs. Baswell and Caplan of Colorado Springs Allergy & Asthma Clinic merged together. At the end of 2017, one of the founding members, Dr. Romett, retired, and Dr. Baswell retired in mid-2018. Dr. Keller joined the practice in the fall of 2018, and Dr. Yohanan retired at the end of the same year. Dr. Pruitt, one of the founding members, retired in mid-2018. In the fall of 2020, two physicians joined the practice: Dr. Webber, an allergist, and Dr. Beckmann, an ENT. In the spring of 2021, CENT&A closed its NorthCare location and opened up its St. Peregrine office. Combined with Audubon, the two main locations have over 24,000 square feet of clinical space to serve the Southern Colorado community. The practice currently consists of 3 locations, 9 ENT doctors, 2 Allergy & Asthma doctors, 1 nurse practitioner, 4 audiologists, and nearly 70 clinical and administrative staff members.

Today, the Olathe Health purpose remains steadfast: respond to our communities, their families and their healthcare demands with the highest possible level of medical professionalism, advanced technology, and professional care.
