The mission of Kids First Health Care is to improve the health and well-being of infants, children and youth through providing primary and preventative health services in partnership with schools and other community organizations. Kids First is a non-profit organization created specifically to meet the health care needs of children ages birth to 21 throughout Adams County. Current services include: • Primary health care • Immunization clinics • Preventive dental health services • Health education on topics like nutrition, obesity, and reproductive health • Behavioral health screening and referrals • Enrollment assistance into Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) • School nursing services in two Adams County school districts Since 1978, Kids First has provided more than 185,000 health care visits for about 71,000 children. In 2018, Kids First saw the following results across all sites: • 10,244 health care visits were provided to 3,965 infants, children and youth.  • 2,221 children and adolescents received immunizations  • 3,154 behavioral health counseling visits were provided to children and teens • 546 families were assisted in applying for Medicaid, CHP+, and the Kids First sliding fee scale, resulting in 1,038 children having increased access to health care. 

Group Mission Trips is the 501(c)(3) non-profit mission ministry of Group Cares that creates mission trip experiences to serve others in a way that transforms communities and helps participants, residents, and partners grow closer to Jesus. Our short-term mission trips are designed to partner with communities and volunteers through service to the elderly, homeless, low-income, and areas affected by natural disasters. Over the past thirty years, we've sent nearly half a million people who have dedicated millions of volunteer hours serving people in need through our unique mission trip experiences. Many people in the United States are unable to perform basic home repairs that keep their property safe. One of our programs provides volunteers and materials to complete home repair projects for the elderly, veterans, and disabled people free of charge. Another program we have works alongside 100 different community-based non-profits and provides volunteers to help them carry out their mission. Lastly, we serve in 10 countries around the world. We partner with local agencies and provide volunteers, materials, and support to carry out various services, including home repair, home construction, spiritual support, and friendship to those in need. All these years later, one constant remains true: We strongly believe in providing opportunities for youth to encounter Jesus through serving others either in their own backyard or halfway across the globe. The Food Bank for Larimer County's mission is to provide food to all in need through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs. In 2020, the Food Bank for Larimer County provided more than 10.5 million pounds of food to low-income residents through three primary programs: Fresh Food Share, Nutritious Kitchen and Nourishing Network. Our Fresh Food Share pantries are client-choice, meaning clients get to select the food that is right for them and their families. With locations in Fort Collins and Loveland, each pantry offers a selection of purchased, donated and government food to income qualifying individuals. In an average year, our pantries will see an average of 200,000 client visits. The Nutritious Kitchen prepares an average of 175,000 nutritious meals and snacks annually for children and seniors in our community, while our Nourishing Network works with more than 100 nonprofit partner agencies to provide food to the clients they serve. These organizations include food pantries, soup kitchens, after school programs and domestic violence shelters among others. An estimated 37,500 Larimer County residents receive assistance from the Food Bank each year.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is to enable all young people in Larimer County, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is the only comprehensive, facility-based, after-school and summer program in Larimer County that includes meals, positive youth development programming, and mentoring for only $20 a year.

Outreach United Resource Center, Inc. (OUR Center) is a Longmont, Colo.-based nonprofit that helps people move toward self-sufficiency by unifying community resources. Founded in 1986, the OUR Center is now the area's largest basic needs and self-sufficiency agency providing vital services including a food pantry, daily hot, nutritous meals, a clothing bank, programs for those who are homeless as well as homelessness prevention in an effort to help those in need in the greater Longmont area toward self-sufficiency. The organization’s staff provides case management, mentoring, and educational classes to help clients move beyond their current situations to become contributing members of the community. The OUR Center also operates Aspen Center for Child Development, which offers childcare and school readiness programs to children from six weeks to six years of age from families of all income levels. The OUR Center has a robust volunteer effort providing opportunities to more than 1,000 volunteers per year. Additionally, in 2011 alone, OUR Center received financial support from more than 1,500 donors and in-kind gifts from over 3,000 individual supporters. As a result, 86-percent of the organization’s total operating budget went directly to client services. Since being founded more than 26 years ago, OUR Center has provided tens of thousands of people with much-needed services and has become the leader in helping people move toward self-sufficiency.

FRIENDS is an organization dedicated to enhancing communities by creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We do so by serving over 200 adults through our Day, Social & Travel, Residential, and Supported Employment Programs. Within our programs, we increase our FRIENDS’ social networks, assist with their retention or improvement in skills for independence, and support them in obtaining competitive work in the community.

Weld Food Bank is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization which alleviates hunger and poverty by providing food and services to people in need. We are a private non-profit organization and are not a part of county government. We work to educate the public about the nature of hunger and poverty. We recognize the need for emergency and supplemental food programs and of other non-profit organizations that meet the critical needs of low-income families. When we provide our services we strive to do so with compassion and respect for the dignity of the people seeking food assistance. Weld Food Bank is also a part of Feeding America which is the largest charitable hunger-relief organization in the country addressing the problem of domestic hunger by providing 4 billion meals to hungry people in America each year. This accomplishment is due to their nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs. Feeding America serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Homeward Alliance operates a continuum of programs and initiatives, ranging from critical survival gear, to employment services, to homelessness prevention. We are not only an alliance of services, but also an alliance of volunteers, donors, agency partners and other community stakeholders. We envision a community in which homelessness is rare, short-lived and non-recurring.
