• Lead hiring process by reviewing resumes, conducting phone and in person interviews, completing reference checks and extending offers
• Manage benefits including, open enrollment, benefits orientation, plan changes, and COBRA administration
• Conduct team member onboarding
• Ensure all team members are up-to-date on required trainings and schedule as needed
• Manage leave of absence process
• Investigate and resolve team member conflicts
• Contribute to annual performance appraisals by working with supervisors to achieve consistency and compliance with established procedures
• Partner with senior leadership to establish and develop HR policies and procedures
• Maintain work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for positions
• Monitor unemployment insurance claims and actively work to reduce claim liability through detailed documentation
• File and monitor worker's compensation claims
• Capture key feedback from exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary
• Prepare all regulatory reports for EEO, OSHA, ACA, and Form 5500 and file in a timely manner to ensure compliance
• Field employee inquiries related to insurance, 401K, PTO and company policies
