Girl Scouts of Orange County serves nearly 15,000 girls and 10,000 volunteers and adult members in Orange County. The Ayn Rand Institute (ARI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Irvine, California, works to introduce young people to Ayn Rand’s novels, to support scholarship and research based on her ideas, and to promote the principles of reason, rational self-interest, individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism to the widest possible audience. The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. (IVHS-SPCA), which has been in existence for more than 65 years, is a private, non-profit animal welfare organization located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. The Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. is a full-service animal shelter where animals of all kinds can find a safe refuge from the streets. Approximately 200 dogs and 100 cats are cared for each day at the Inland Valley Humane Society. Last year, we provided care and comfort to approximately 16,,000 animals in our facility. Our goal is to find permanent homes for these animals with loving and responsible families and to educate the community, from children to adults, about general pet care information and responsible pet ownership.

The mission of the Center for Natural Lands Management is: To conserve native species, their habitat and functioning ecosystems in perpetuity; To own and/or manage lands in an ecologically beneficial manner consistent with local, state and federal environmental laws and with science-based stewardship; To promote the conservation values of such lands through education; To promote and facilitate uses of lands by the public that preserve the conservation values; and To cooperate with public and private entities in their efforts to protect native species and their habitats for the public benefit.
