South Coast Lumber Co. was established in 1950 in Brookings, Oregon. As a family-owned company represented by four generations, we prioritize safety and sustainability for our employees. Sourcing raw materials from our local timberland while manufacturing each product and component in our own facilities ensures availability and consistent quality through vertical integration.

Open Door Community Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) system that provides quality care and health education to over 55,000 residents of Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Open Door serves with a mission to provide high quality care to all regardless of financial, geographic or social barriers. Currently, the organization has 13 clinics as well as mobile dental and medical vans. Through example, education, and participation in the healthcare community, Open Door seeks to promote the development of a healthcare system that meets the needs and enhances the health of all individuals in the region. Mad River Community Hospital is a 78-bed, acute care medical facility. We are a locally owned hospital, independently operated, and we are committed to providing the best care for our patients. Mad River Community Hospital is one of the first and one of the few hospitals that serves fresh produce from an on-site vegetable garden to patients and in the hospital “Garden Café”.
