My daily activities included, but were not limited to, evaluating stock levels and consumption rates of all product lines as well as replenishment. I also over saw labor allocations for all product lines, aided in the negotiation of contracts and over saw the purchasing of high cost materials in the open commodities market.
As the Director of Operations, I was also tasked with oversight of technical support staff. I trained new employees on company script and customer response. This process included mentoring new technical support staff and monitoring customer support calls to insure a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
In addition to this experience, I had the opportunity to be a part of the contract drafting and negotiation process with vendors and customers. During this process my contracts were used to secure mutually beneficial relationships with several major customers and vendors.
