Central Valley Medical Center (CVMC) is a leader among rural health care facilities. The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) listed CVMC in the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in America. CVMC also ranks among the 60 highest Critical Access Hospitals in the United States for Patient Perception. In addition, CVMC's Home Health Agency was recently selected as one of the top 500 Home Health Agencies for 2014. CVMC is a full service hospital offering a broad range of primary care, including emergency, surgical services diagnostic imaging, laboratory, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, orthopedics, acute and skilled nursing care as well as labor and delivery services. The hospital medical staff is comprised of seven family medicine physicians, one general surgeon, one OB/GYN, one orthopedic surgeon, and two radiologists. These professionals along with one Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and two Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) provide health services at CVMC. A cadre of specialists visit the facility on a monthly basis. The hospital serves a population of approximately 40,000 residents spread across Juab, Servier, Sanpete, Millard and Utah Counties. Due to its location near the convergence of three major highway systems (I-15, Highway 89 and SR 28), the facility serves many travelers and visitors recreating in nearby outdoor attractions.

Altura Centers for Health (ALTURA) is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and is a Non-Profit 501 (c) 3. The Centers core services are Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Dental and Specialty services. Also, provides patient transportation, education, insurance enrollment, outreach services and much more. The Center was purchased from Tulare Local Health Care District July 1, 1998. ALTURA is also designated as a Migrant Health Center from the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC). ALTURA receives Health and Human Services (HHS) funding and has Federal PHS deemed status with respect to certain health or health related claims, including malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Hinds Hospice, founded by Nancy Hinds, R.N., provides expert end-of-life hospice medical care in Fresno, Madera, and Merced counties, since 1981. OUR MISSION The mission of Hinds Hospice is to uphold the dignity and ease the suffering of the terminally ill while supporting their loved ones, and those who are grieving. The Hinds Hospice Center for Grief and Healing is unique in that it serves not only hospice families, but also the community at large with grief support services. We offer one-on-one grief counseling, group support specific to the type of loss, monthly grief mailings, or someone to listen on the phone. The news of an unborn baby being diagnosed with a life-limiting condition is heartbreaking. Angel Babies offers a perinatal hospice program designed for families who have received this diagnosis, offering support and comfort during pregnancy and providing ideas for creating loving memories. Children require different care than adults, so our innovative pediatric hospice program allows for concurrent treatment along with hospice services.
