The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB) is a private, nonprofit association of insurance companies licensed to transact workers'​ compensation insurance in the state of California. The WCIRB operates under the authority of the California Insurance Code, is licensed by the California Department of Insurance (CDI) and is the Insurance Commissioner’s designated statistical agent for workers comp insurance.
