Gordon Huether Studio (Gordon Huether + Partners, Inc.) specializes in large-scale, site-specific art installations that are integrated into architecture, landscape and interiors for projects of various sizes throughout the world. We have extensive experience working with a variety of media including steel, metal, wood and light. Our intention for each project is to tell a story, either directly or inferred, and to create a dialogue between the art, those who experience the art and the architecture of the site. While many of our installations are large-scale, public artworks, we also design and fabricate privately commissioned work. A vital part of the design-development phase is getting to know our clients - their creative vision and the project intent. From the inception of each project up to its completion and beyond, Gordon Huether Studio is dedicated to providing high quality work, including a smooth production process, integrative, professional and prompt communication and state-of-the-art design concepts. Our work is designed and fabricated in-house in Napa, California, by our team of artisans who are internationally recognized for their innovative, creative and highly professional craftsmanship. NORTH BAY AQUATICS is a civic & social organization company based out of 9 SCENIC RD, Fairfax, California, United States.

Founded in 1986, by Terrance Kelly, the mission of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, Inc. is to inspire joy and unity among all people through Black gospel and spiritual music traditions. OIGC weaves together more than 300 singers across multiple choirs from a wide range of faiths, races, and cultures. Under Artistic Director Kelly, the namesake Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir performs 25-30 times a year and is inclusive of an ensemble of nine to 15 singers representing OIGC at additional events. Performance highlights include jazz festival tours, the CA Governor’s Tree Lighting, inauguration ceremonies, and annual performances with the Oakland and San Francisco Symphonies. The Youth Program and Community Engagement Program (CEP) make up the bulk of OIGC’s work. CEP, inclusive of include the non-audition Oakland Interfaith Community Choir founded in 2013 and the Oakland Interfaith Kids Choir in 2022, presents concerts in a wide range of venues that reach underserved populations and serve the community in times of need and celebration. Its self-produced Free Spring Concert and accompanying biennial Traditional Gospel Music Workshop help to preserve and advance Black gospel music and spirituals. The summer of 2022 saw the acquisition of the Oakland Youth Chorus, bolstering OIGC’s youth program and outreach to include a total of 5 ensembles, youth development and leadership committees, and internship opportunities. OIGC continues to address the need to keep the tradition of Black gospel music and Negro spirituals alive for new generations of singers and to bring this music to diverse audiences throughout the community. Root Division is a visual arts non-profit that connects creativity and community through a dynamic ecosystem of arts education, exhibitions, and studios. Our mission is to empower artists, promote community service, inspire youth, and enrich the Bay Area through engagement in the visual arts. Root Division is located at 1131 Mission Street in the heart of San Francisco’s Mid-Market/ SOMA neighborhood. This 13,400 sf space opened publicly in Fall 2015, and is easily accessible by public transit. Root Division was founded in 2002 to remedy the lack of arts education in schools while creating a sustainable arts hub that would constructively address the three main challenges facing Bay Area emerging artists: the need for low-cost studio space; exhibition opportunities; and income-generating professional experience. Giving back to the community is singular to our unique model where artists receive subsidized studio space in exchange for training and volunteering their time to do everything from teaching art classes to adults & low-income youth to organizing exhibitions. Root Division is a launching pad for artists, a stepping-stone for educators, a door to creativity for youth, and a bridge for the general public to become supporters of the arts. Since inception, Root Division has provided 220 artists with studios; empowered & trained 400 artists to teach; provided over 6,800 hours of free art classes for neighborhood youth; hosted onsite adult art classes for 3,600 students; exhibited 3,700 artists; been a gathering place for 65,000+ visitors; sold over $1.1M of emerging artwork to the public; and developed partnerships with 30 public schools/ community centers and 180+ local businesses. Root Division creates & connects community-minded artists & arts-minded community while addressing the lack of affordable workspace for emerging artists in San Francisco.

Oakland Youth Chorus unites diverse communities and transforms young people’s lives through excellence in music education and community performance. OYC offers school and community based music and choral training programs for East Bay children and youth. Through our elementary in-school programs, after school Miracle Choruses, Middle School Choruses, and our advanced Concert Chorus and Chamber Singers ensembles, OYC brings access with excellence in music instruction and community building performance opportunities that increase confidence, community engagement, musical skills, and creativity. OYC was founded in 1974 to nurture the musical talent of Oakland’s youth. Since then, OYC has grown from a single community youth chorus to a comprehensive youth choral music education organization serving hundreds of singers each year. OYC trains youth in a varied repertoire, supporting artistic diversity by providing programs that reflect and contribute to the cultural richness of our region. OYC’s young people develop close friendships across lines of race, class and culture, multicultural respect, and a lifelong love of music, changing lives and our world through the power of the human voice.
