Founded in 1974, Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is one of the largest food banks in the nation and a trusted nonprofit leader in ending local hunger. The organization distributes nutritious groceries through a network of nearly 400 partners at drive-thru and walk-up sites across Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Salud Para La Gente (Salud) is a nonprofit healthcare organization with clinics in Santa Cruz County and North Monterey County, California. As a health home, Salud has made it our mission to provide high quality, comprehensive, and cost effective healthcare that is responsive to the needs of the communities we serve. Catalyst Kids (formerly Child Development Centers (CDC)) was founded in 1984 to provide learning materials and services to both state-subsidized and private childcare centers. This business quickly expanded to become the preschool and school-age programs we operate today. The Housing Authority of the County of Monterey (HACM) was created under the authority of the Health and Safety Code by Resolution which identified a need for safe and sanitary low income housing, by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors on March 17, 1941. The Housing Authority of the County of Monterey provides a variety of housing and services to low and moderate income residents of Monterey County. The Housing Authority is supported by grants and special allocations from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the State of California housing programs. In addition, the Monterey County Inclusionary Housing Fund often provides seed money for housing development projects. The agency receives no general fund allocation, tax increment revenue, or special funding from the State of California, the County of Monterey or any city government. The Housing Authority of the County of Monterey is growing, as is evidenced by its expanding financial capacity.

After 115 years our longevity and integrity are evident. However, we don't just rely on that; quality service is our goal. We received accreditation by the Council on Accreditation (COA) in November 2006 which certifies that Rebekah Children's Services has met their rigorous national standards for child and family behavioral services. As a member of the California Alliance of Children and Family Services our voice is shaping future practices to better serve the mental health, foster care and adoption needs of children and families. Their standards of excellence for non-profits in California require Rebekah Children's Services to be reviewed for practice standards every four years, maintaining our focus to be a leader in our field. Our expertise in serving children has lead us to be a First 5 partner specializing in mental health services for children ages 0-5. We are a United Way funded program, receiving grant support through their network of giving.

LifeMoves is the largest and most effective nonprofit committed to ending the cycle of homelessness for families and individuals in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Our successful and multi-faceted therapeutic service model combines clean, modern housing with intensive supportive services that promote dignity and respectfully motivate our clients to achieve autonomy. LifeMoves programs combat homelessness today – and tomorrow – by teaching comprehensive life skills that help our clients achieve long-term self-sufficiency, and effectively break the cycle of homelessness. Our innovative and effective program model requires accountability from our clients. The LifeMoves program helps clients understand the root cause of their homelessness and then focuses them on developing core competencies and the skills they need to succeed in the long-term. Similarly, our in-depth programming for children provides academic support to help bridge achievement gaps, and physical and mental health support to address the extensive issues caused by the trauma of homelessness. The focus is on maximizing opportunities for homeless youth to help them mature into self-sufficient adults and to end intergenerational poverty which leads to homelessness. The impact of LifeMoves programs and services is tremendous: Last year, 82% of families and 65% of individuals engaged in our shelter programs successfully returned to stable housing and self-sufficiency.

Friends of Children with Special Needs, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, was formed in 1996 by ten Chinese-American families to support each other, share ideas, offer a hand for the newly diagnosed, and to educate the community about people with special needs. The ten families’ mission, which becomes FCSN’s mission today, is to build a community of love, hope, and respect for the special need population and this mission continues to dictate FCSN’s every move. Since 1996, FCSN has rapidly increased its membership to over 800 multi-ethnic families. FCSN now provides 44 comprehensive programs for thousands of special need individuals of all ages and their families.

Abode's​ mission is to end homelessness by assisting low-income, un-housed people, including those with special needs, to secure stable, supportive housing; and to be advocates for the removal of the causes of homelessness. We develop and implement innovative programs to end homelessness. Our agency is built on the principles of Housing First, a proven approach that has demonstrated results far superior to the traditional approaches to homelessness. We were founded in Alameda County in 1989 when a small group of people came together to address a growing problem with family homelessness in the Tri-City Area. Since then, we have expanded our impact throughout the Bay Area, serving more than 6,100 adults and children each year in Alameda, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Mateo, and Napa counties. Our results show how effective our work has been in ending homelessness for vulnerable adults and children throughout our community.
