Friendship Community Care, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing services to children and adults with disabilities. Founded in 1972, FCC has grown into a statewide care provider by merging with and acquiring over 50 health service programs across the state to provide a wide variety of community-based care options for individuals navigating life with a disability. Services within FCC's facilities include Pediatric Therapy services, Outpatient Therapy services, Arkansas Better Chance program placement, Rural Healthcare programs, Supportive and Community employment programs, Waiver Support services, Adult Day Program services, Behavioral Health services, and Special Education reform efforts in partnership with regional school districts. Friendship Community Care, Inc. also partners with Area Agency on Aging, as Arkansas'​ state-appointed managing organization for senior care. FCC provides management and expansion for AAA's Senior Wellness Centers, Meals on Wheels programs, and low-income Residential programs state-wide.

In 1959 Dr. Roger Bost, a pediatrician in Fort Smith, Arkansas, had a vision for special children. Working with a group of concerned parents, a school for children with developmental and intellectual delays was formed. Today, Bost, Inc. is an outgrowth of Dr. Bost's dream. Bost, Inc. has become the regional leader in Western Arkansas for services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Currently, the agency touches over 700 men, women, and children with disabilities on a daily basis in 34 counties in Western Arkansas with a wide range of services and programs. Bost, Inc. is a community-based, not-for-profit agency dedicated to developing services for and providing services to individuals in Western Arkansas and adjacent regions who have mental and developmental disabilities and other related conditions. The dedicated staff at Bost, Inc. provide these community living services for individuals with disabilities, as well as their families, to maximize the quality of lives. In 1963, a group of concerned citizens saw there was a need in Fayetteville to provide services for children with developmental delays or disabilities who were not being served by the public schools. In September of that same year, the school opened its doors with four students in attendance. Mrs. Elizabeth Richardson was the first teacher and she went on to become the first Executive Director. Since that time, ERC has grown to serve over 600 children and adults each year in ten locations throughout Northwest Arkansas. Our five Child Development Centers serve children from six weeks to five years of age who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability or delay. Each center offers speech, physical and occupational therapy in a preschool setting with a state-approved curriculum. ERC believes that smaller is better and, because of that, we have invested in communities throughout Northwest Arkansas to place centers convenient to where our families live and work. We want our centers to be easily accessible and welcoming for families and to feel like home for your little one while they are in our care. For adults with disabilities, we offer several programs that include vocational training, community employment, life skills classes, community involvement, recreational opportunities and independent living options.

The organization serves a nine (9) county area in the Arkansas River Valley. The agency’s headquarters office is in Dardanelle, AR. and has 10 satellite offices located throughout the area.
