United Way of the Mid-South's network of care impacts Mid-South poverty through our work in education, financial stability and health. United Way serves the citizens of Crittenden, DeSoto, Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby, Tate, Tipton and Tunica counties in AR, MS and TN.

Our goal is simple. To help Memphis grow. The Greater Memphis Chamber is an advocate of job creation, community development and business growth in the Memphis area. Our vision is to foster an authentic business environment unique to the soul of our city.

The MERI is a nonprofit medical teaching and training facility in Memphis, Tennessee qualified under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The MERI conducts state-of-the-art, hands-on educational courses for physicians, nurses and other medical professionals from across the country and around the world. At the MERI, medical professionals are introduced to the latest innovations in medicine, and have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the most up-to-date medical techniques and technologies. The MERI supports research in all specialties by providing the sponsor with the most effective environment for achieving maximal outcomes for their studies.

The Urban Child Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being and health of children from conception to three years old in Memphis and Shelby County. Organizationally, we are a data-driven, result-oriented coalition of community researchers, strategists, and practitioners who share a common vision of turning research into actionable knowledge.

The Mission of Mid-South Food Bank is to change lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South. Our Vision is Hunger to Hope. We fight hunger through the efficient collection and distribution of wholesome food and through education and advocacy.

BRIDGES unites and inspires diverse young people to become confident and courageous leaders committed to community transformation. Bridge Builders programs are open to youth in grades 6-12 in three distinct program levels designed to help youth learn to lead, appreciate diversity, speak up and speak out about young people's concerns, and become agents for change in Memphis. Bridge Builders want to make Memphis a better place to live, work and play.

RISE Memphis programming has had a profound impact on the lives of Memphis youth, adults and senior citizens. Their stories are those of hope, transformation and empowerment.

The Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth is an independent state agency created by the Tennessee General Assembly. Its primary mission is to lead systems improvement for all children and families through data-driven advocacy, education, and collaboration.
