JL developed, manages, and through its affiliates owns more than 3,200 units of privatized military housing on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson land and owns and manages over 1,300 apartment units. The company is also active outside Alaska. Recently, it completed and developed two hotels at the Western Entrance of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. JL is also active as a developer and investor in Utah, where it has owned a number of office buildings and developed a 100,000 square foot high tech industrial facility. In addition to its real estate holdings, JL has engaged in a number of private equity transactions, including in the finance, telecommunications, energy and industrial services sectors.
