Radiologists are physicians who have received 4 to 6 years of advanced training after completing their medical degrees. Radiology technologists, who work closely with radiologists, receive 2 to 4 years of training in radiologic technology. Quick Results Your referring physician will be provided results 3-4 working days after your examination. Safety Your safety is one of our top priorities. In 1977, the Rural Health Medical Program Incorporated (RHMPI) was established in Uniontown, Alabama. What started as one (1) Community Health Center within a Public Housing Authority providing Primary Health Care and Dental services to the entire community of Uniontown, Alabama, has since grown from one (1) site with ten (10) employees over the past forty (40) years to eight (8) Community Health Center sites and one Medical Mobile Unit with over sixty (60) employees under the leadership of several talented, intellectual visionaries and profession support staff members. The Rural Health Medical Program is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) expanding access to care for medically underserved residents of Dallas, Perry, Wilcox, Marengo, Monroe, and Clarke (Coming Soon) counties, in rural Alabama. RHMPI provides services to patients regardless of their ability to pay, accepts public and private insurance, and uses a Sliding Fee Scale Policy based on U.S. Federal Poverty guidelines for those who are uninsured and underinsured. The quality and value of our services attract patients from all socio-economic groups. We serve patients with Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, and we offer a competitive and affordable sliding fee scale to those with no insurance. All patients face substantial clinical and environmental challenges. Rates for diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and cancer continue to rise and airborne viruses and environmental pollutants know no geographic boundaries . The cost of healthcare continues to rise, because of these challenges RHMP is committed to providing high quality, high value, and affordable services. RHMPI provides one stop automated solution for preventive and primary health care needs for individuals and families.
