CEREX Advanced Fabrics is an ISO 9001 CERTIFIED producer of a wide range of specialty nonwoven nylon spunbond fabrics that have served customers worldwide for over forty years. The company is located near Pensacola, Florida, USA, and operates three spunbond fabric manufacturing lines based on Cerex's proprietary technology. All of our fabrics exhibit excellent uniformity, plus high tensile and tear strength even at low fabric weights. Because the fabrics are made of nylon, one of the toughest and most durable manmade polymers, our fabrics have high sewn seam strength when fabricated into finished articles. The fabrics can be ultrasonically seamed and fabric edges are not subject to raveling. In additon, nylon bonds well with most adhesive systems, making these fabrics excellent materials for manufacturing laminate and composite systems. With nearly one-half the thickness of other spunbond materials, our fabrics can be engineered within the media design to provide increased surface area and lower differential pressures. The exceptional burst and tensile properties of our nylon spunbond provide more strength per unit weight than other competitive fabrics. In addition, the chemical resistance of our nylon fabrics is preferred in fuel and hydraulic filter applications, even those containing aggressive additive packages. Discover how “The Nylon Advantage®” sets us apart from other nonwovens fabrics.

Fuelled by innovation and technology, Lincoln Fabrics has grown over the past half century into one of the leading weavers of specialty fabrics for high performance and life critical applications. Established in 1955, the company’s original focus was on the production of the most popular synthetic materials of the day; Nylon and Polyester. As the demand for fire resistant garments grew in the late 80's, Lincoln Fabrics used its technical ability to meet the fire resistant market needs. Again in the late 80's due to the demand in body armor, Lincoln Fabrics focused its technical skills and expertise to design ballistic fabric that met and exceeded the market needs in both Canada and the USA. Our fabric’s outstanding ballistic characteristics allowed us to expand to the US where we currently supply to a number of soft body armor manufacturer. Our manufacturing expansion into Alabama in 2003, with its state of the art manufacturing equipment, has allowed Lincoln Fabrics to participate in the US military market. We are Berry Amendment compliant. Concurrent with these developments Lincoln Fabrics has created a unique line of Nylon Camouflage printed fabrics and will be NFPA certified.
