Founded in 1950 by Mose and Garrison Siskin in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Siskin Children’s Institute is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Tennessee and Georgia, and achieves its mission through pediatric health care services, home visiting, and outreach in the field of developmental pediatrics. The Institute provides developmental pediatric health care services, home and community-based early intervention, and family support through health care navigation services. Health Care The Siskin Center for Developmental Pediatrics is a regional developmental pediatric center, led by a team of developmental pediatricians, with services available in Chattanooga and Nashville, TN. Children are referred to the Institute for medical, psychological and cognitive assessment, diagnosis and treatment, including, occupational, speech and language, applied behavior analysis, and other therapies as well as counseling and social skills groups. Home Visiting The Siskin Home & Community-Based Early Intervention program is designed to help parents, other caregivers and children with special needs gain the knowledge and confidence they need to be successful in life. Through visits with a developmental therapist, the family receives information, support, guidance and consultation about improving the child’s and family’s quality of life. Partnership for Families, Children and Adults has been serving the Tennessee Valley community for 146 years through professional counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services. It began with the 1877 establishment of the Ladies Aid Society, which later became the Florence Crittenton Home. Under direction of United Way, The Florence Crittenton Service, Family Service Agency and Travelers Aid Society merged into Community Services of Greater Chattanooga, Inc. in 1973. In 1981, the agency assumed the name Family and Children’s Services of Chattanooga, Inc., and in 2003 became the Partnership for Families, Children and Adults. In 2006, the Partnership was recognized by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce as the Non-Profit Organization of the Year for demonstrating excellence in non-profit management and community impact. Partnership’s Victim Support Services is supported by Award No. 2019-V2GX-0043 awarded by the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice through the Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice Programs.

CADAS was established in 1964 and offers a full continuum of care from Medical Detox, Residential Treatment, Out Patient Services(IOP, MAT), Halfway House, and Sober Living Apt. We assist both Adults and Adolescents in encouraging a lifelong recovery. CADAS utilizes the 12 step model of recovery and our interventions reflect this approach. With approx 215 beds we are able to offer a multi-dimensional approach approach that focuses on restoring the individual physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Recovery is possibly with effective treatment and the removal of any barriers. The National Children's Advocacy Center models, promotes and delivers excellence in child abuse response and prevention through service, education and leadership. The National Children’s Advocacy Center is located in Huntsville, Alabama, and has revolutionized our nation’s response to child sexual abuse since its creation under the leadership of Bud Cramer. The work of the NCAC serves as a beacon of hope for more than 250,000 child abuse victims every year. The NCAC is based in Huntsville, Alabama. Each year, thousands of people from the United States and around the world are trained on how to recognize and support endangered children. More than 70,000 child abuse professionals from all 50 states and 33 countries have been trained by the NCAC.

Big Oak Ranch exists to meet the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children by giving them a solid, Christian home and a chance to realize and fulfill God's plan for their lives.

Incorporated and founded in 1973 as The Huntsville Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc., the organization was later rebranded with the dba name of Phoenix. Phoenix is a 501c3 nonprofit, owned and governed by a volunteer board of directors, comprised of several local business leaders, professionals and civic leaders, who all donate their time in order to provide oversight and guidance of Phoenix’s mission and vision. Phoenix’s offices are located at 2939 Johnson Road in a 50,000 square foot facility, originally built in 1986 and having undergone a complete, modernized renovation in 2016. Phoenix has a relationship with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS) to provide comprehensive and continuous programs to assist people with disabilities enter, remain and return to the work environment.

Chambliss Center for Children is a private, local non-profit organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dating back to 1872, the agency exists to preserve family unity and to help prevent the dependency, neglect, abuse, and delinquency of children by responding to the community's child care needs. We accomplish this through two major programs: 1. Extended Child Care: We offer early childhood education and child care to children ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age. Parents must be working or in school to use our program, but their fees are based on income, making it affordable to everyone. Our main campus is open 24 hours per day, weekends, and holidays, to allow parents to work any hours or shifts needed. A Three Star rating from the State gives us the highest quality program possible. We have five off-site child care programs, operating similar programs, without being open 24 hours. 2. Residential Care: We care for children who have been removed from their homes and are in the custody of the State of Tennessee. They have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or come through the juvenile court system. Children are primarily ages 6-18 and can either reside in our Shelter or in our foster homes throughout the city. The goal is to reunite the children with their families or to find a suitable adoptive placement. Our programs serve almost 700 children per day, of all races, ages, and economic backgrounds throughout the city.
