As the Operations Manager I over see every aspect of the daily functions that are required to complete the routes. • Oversee the establishment of new routes, adjustment to existing routes, the scheduling, and collection of all twenty-six routes. • Assign the training and retraining of new and experienced employees. • Hold weekly safety meetings. • Participate in the weekly management conference call to assess weekly performance. • Ensure that the drivers are performing the proper checks on their equipment to follow DOT regulations. • Take the necessary measures to ensure we are OSHA compliant. • Complete all required reports on time. • Perform random site visits to the routes to ensure employees are using all their proper personal protective equipment. • Communicate with customers and contract representatives.
