A new ownership group headed by entrepreneurs Wesley Edens, Jamie Dinan, Jimmy Haslam, and an impressive assemblage of Milwaukee community leaders infuses the team and city with a new vitality driven by the promise of a next-generation team that remains true to the spirit of the “Brew City.” In addition to an exciting roster of talented players, the organization is in the final stages of a new arena to serve as the home for the next era of Bucks basketball. The state-of-the-art facility will become an important part of the revitalization of downtown Milwaukee and become integral to the community’s economic future. This new beginning for the Milwaukee Bucks is preceded by a lengthy history of success in the NBA, highlighted by the franchise’s NBA Championship in 1971 and 2021. In just the team’s third season of action, the Bucks earned the distinction of owning the quickest rise from expansion team to champion in any of the four major North American professional leagues. The Bucks also count two conference championships, 13 division titles, and 27 postseason appearances among the team’s many accomplishments. Additionally, numerous Bucks players, coaches, and contributors are included as members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

A 501(c)(3) organization, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. hosts a variety of festivals and other events and manages Summerfest, The World's Largest Music Festival, an annual 9-day music celebration that averages 900,000 attendees and began in 1968. In addition, the organization manages the operations of Henry W. Maier Festival Park, situated on a 75-acre permanent site along the shores of Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee. The property is the setting for a series of events, concerts and ethnic and cultural festivals that attract an average of 1.4 million patrons each year.

Milwaukee Rep is the largest performing arts organization in Wisconsin in terms of audiences served and one of the largest professional theaters in the country. Among the finest orchestras in the country, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is the largest cultural organization in Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1959, the orchestra has received critical acclaim for artistic excellence. Eighty-three full-time professional musicians perform more than 130 concerts each season. A cornerstone organization in Milwaukee's community, the MSO provides enrichment and education activities for audiences of every age, economic status, and background. The MSO is recognized as a pioneer in the world of new music among American orchestras. For 41 years, the symphony's nationally syndicated radio broadcasts have ranked among the nation's largest collections, enjoyed on more than 240 stations throughout the United States. In 2005, the MSO became the first American orchestra to offer live recordings for download directly through online music stores including iTunes. The MSO is honored to participate in the second Spring for Music Festival at Carnegie Hall on May 11, 2012. The MSO's standard of excellence extends beyond the concert hall and into the community, reaching more than 40,000 children and their families through its ACE (Arts in Community Education) program, Youth and Teen concerts, Kinderkonzerts, Music for Me concerts, and Behind the Notes pre-concert talks and Friday post-concert Talkbacks. This season, 7,200 students and 1,200 faculty and staff members in 21 Southeastern Wisconsin elementary and middle schools will participate in ACE.

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization established in 1967 for aesthetic and educational purposes. Its mission is to encourage and support innovative explorations in the arts and to foster an exchange between a national community of artists and a broad public that will help realize the power of the arts to inspire and transform our world. The Arts Center serves as laboratory for the creation of new works, nurturer of interdisciplinary initiatives, originator of exhibitions, presenter and producer of performing arts, educator, publisher of critical writings, community builder, and advocate for issues affecting the arts.
