For over 50 years, Christian Appalachian Project has served the people of Appalachia by building hope, transforming lives, and sharing Christ’s love. Our work started when Reverend Ralph W. Beiting, a Catholic priest from northern Kentucky, was assigned to pastor a large portion of east-central Kentucky. Through his outreach, he witnessed tremendous poverty in Appalachia. He saw children weak from hunger, families beaten down by hardship, seniors living in fear and isolation, and communities desperate for hope. With the help of family and friends, he provided food, clothing, and other essentials to neighbors in need. What started small quickly grew, and Christian Appalachian Project was founded in 1964. Through donor support, dedicated volunteers, and a selfless staff, CAP now touches the lives of more than 1 million people each year. By working with other local food banks and humanitarian service providers, our reach extends to parts of all 13 states of the Appalachian region, including Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. RVCDS provides high quality early childhood care and education services for children, families and communities throughout WV. RVCDS serves over 12,000 people a year with a myriad of regional and statewide programs. These programs include Enterprise Child Development Center, school age programs, Family Child Care Food Program, Child Care Resource and Referral programs covering 20 counties, Birth to Three System Regional Administrative Units in Huntington and Charleston and the statewide WV Early Childhood Training Connections and Resources.

Ramey-Estep Homes, Inc. is 501(c)(3), private, not-for-profit organization that provides behavioral healthcare to Kentucky children and families. Ramey-Estep's continuum of care includes Assessment, Office Based and In-home Counseling, Targeted Case Management, Treatment Foster Care and Residential Treatment. All programs have evidenced based Substance Abuse programming for adolescents.

Founded in 1979 by Dr. Ruth Sullivan, Autism Services Center (ASC) is a nonprofit, licensed behavioral health center providing Medicaid Waiver services to Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln, Putnam and Mason counties. ASC also provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in Huntington, WV.

Through this program, the Foodbank provides services to 17 counties in the region. 12 of which are located in West Virginia, 4 in Eastern Kentucky, and 1 in Southeastern Ohio.

Developmental Therapy Center, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, located in Huntington, WV, that has been focusing on the health and wellness of children and adults in the Tri-State area of West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky since 1951. Developmental Therapy Center provides invaluable special instruction services and therapeutic services in the related fields of occupational, physical, and speech therapy to children and adults of the Tri-State area who have a variety of disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and Down syndrome.
