Arms of Hope is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need.Arms of Hope's facilities include Medina Children's Home (60 miles northwest of San Antonio) and Boles Children's Home (40 miles northeast of Dallas).The facilities have over 135 years combined experience in comprehensive residential care programs for children.Arms of Hope also reaches disadvantaged children in their own neighborhoods in various communities with its Outreach Ministry programs. Through its Residential Child Care,Together, College and Career, Right Start, and Outreach Ministry programs,Arms of Hope is committed to providing a safe haven and Christian environment for children and single-mother families by helping them avoid homelessness, poverty, abuse and neglect and by leading them to lives of sustaining and productive citizenship. Our residents attend public school, nearby universities or trade schools and participate in school, church and campus activities. Arms of Hope does not receive federal or state grants. Instead, Arms of Hope relies on caring individuals, businesses, civic groups, churches and foundations for funding and volunteer support.

The Barshop Jewish Community Center is a birth through life organization committed to enhancing a way of life for its members and the community. The abundant array of programs, services, and events offered at the JCC incorporate facets that are meant to help strengthen each individual’s Jewish Identity, Experience, and Connection to Community. Many of our programs are open and available to the community at large. Those interested in Member-exclusive services and facility usage may consider a JCC membership. St. Andrew Methodist Church, founded in 1986, is located on 21.2 acres in Plano, Texas, and has more than 7,000 members. The church hosts over 2,000 people each weekend for worship services in both a traditional style with the classic pipe organ and a contemporary style with an LED center screen and lighting technology. St. Andrew extends an open invitation for all to be a part of a community ready to embrace faith in Christ that is real, practical, and life changing. Many opportunities are provided to gather on campus and serve locally, regionally, and globally. Alpha Home has offered substance use treatment in the San Antonio area since 1966. Our residential treatment services-adult women only while our outpatient services work with adult men and women in gender-specific groups. Outpatient services are offered during the day or evening. We accept Medicaid and serve individuals regardless of their ability to pay. We believe in a community where recovery is possible.
