Twin Liquors is a family-owned, Austin-based retailer of fine wine and spirits, with 100 stores across Texas, including Sigel's in Dallas. Born and raised in downtown Austin, Texas in 1937, family owned, Twin Liquors began as one small store and has emerged into a “home grown,” successful Austin company that has a unique and well-respected reputation throughout the United States for having impeccable team members, outstanding customer service, conveniently located stores, extensive selections of fine wines and premium spirits from around the world, and substantial community involvement. Originally known as Jabour's Package store, in February of 1982, 3rd generation siblings, David & Margaret Jabour began operating a small 700-square-foot liquor store at the corner of 7th and Red River in downtown Austin. This store was named “Twin Liquors” in honor of Theodore Jabour, who was one of the original twins of the Jabour’s Package Store. In 1983 Twin Liquors began providing on premise services to bars and restaurants in the downtown Austin area. Today Twin Liquors operates from Dallas to San Antonio, and the Hill Country to Houston, with over 100 retail locations and wholesale services in said markets. With many years of service to the public, Twin is truly a “family owned and operated” business. The Jabour family has lived in Austin since the late 1800s, and is one of only a few families in the United States with industry roots dating back to Prohibition. “We believe that helping communities is an essential component of fulfilling the needs of our customers,” David Jabour, President. Their vision was to make healthy eating more accessible and to have a balance of nutrients, focusing specifically on protein. Their solution was being healthy should fit your lifestyle by having customizable products, all being high in protein, built for on-the-go. With 45+ locations, Shake Smart is continuing to grow across universities nationwide, and are now beginning to expand into hospitals, airports, and additional military installations, forging a new segment of the blended drink industry called “functional nutrition”.
