We offer flex work between our home health, telehealth, and outpatient rehabilitation clinic for those staff that have interest in various clinical arenas. Milestones offers intensive mentoring from our own staff, many of whom teach pediatric rehabilitation courses nationwide. We host a “Lunch and Learn” series developed by our Clinical Excellence Leaders to help staff problem-solve treatment ideas to better address their patient’s changing needs. In addition, we have maintained a case conference since the first week we opened back in 2000 as we believe it critical to continuity of care. These meetings are now held remotely via video teleconference, affording our entire team to come together to analyze and improve care plans. We know that ongoing formal clinical education is critical to providing our patients with the most cutting edge and innovative therapy. We extend educational opportunities to our team in-house from experts in neurodevelopmental and sensory processing disorders through in-house workshops. Our team truly is a family- single-mindedly dedicated to improving the health and functional abilities of children with special medical and developmental needs.
