West Gulf Maritime Association is a Texas nonprofit corporation, was organized in early 1968 to succeed the former local maritime associations in Houston, Galveston and Brownsville, Texas and to embrace within the membership of one Association the steamship owners, operators, agents along with stevedoring and/or terminal companies located in all Texas ports and the Port of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Acting through its committees appointed from the membership, the Association negotiates and administers various labor agreements with the International Longshoremen's Association in West Gulf ports. The Association provides a forum for discussions and exchanges of information between the member companies concerning a wide variety of industry challenges of mutual interest and concern.

BAHEP is a member-driven organization that provides the leadership to stimulate regional economic development and employment. Utilizing a collaborative committee structure, we engage more than 270 investor companies, business professionals, local governments, and educational institutions in southeast Texas to bring about prosperity and a high quality of life for the 800,000 people who live and work in the region. Our members include business partners encompassing 13 cities and Galveston and Harris counties. We market the Bay Area Houston to new businesses, expansions, and relocations to create new employment.

Beaumont Foundation America is a nonprofit organization management company based out of 470 Orleans St, Beaumont, TX, United States.

The Houston Area Urban League, founded in 1968, has been a voice for poor and disadvantaged people of all races and has a long and distinguished record as an agency that offers tangible, lasting benefits to all members of the community without regard to age, sex, race, physical limitations, or ethnic background. It is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, community-based United Way agency, affiliated with the National Urban League. Implementation of programmatic activities began in October 1968 under the National Urban League’s convention structure. A 40-member Board of Directors Chaired by Morris Clark sets local agency direction and policy. Judson W. Robinson, III serves as President & Chief Executive Officer. Robinson, a business professional and former Houston City Councilman with more than 20 years of administrative and managerial leadership is the grandson of founding member Judson Robinson, Sr. The mission statement of the Houston Area Urban League is to enable African-American and other minorities to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights. The mission is best achieved through a two-pronged approach, advocacy—the promotion of equal access to Education, Housing, Economic Development, Workforce Development and Training and through direct service delivery—providing programs which address these priorities. Program services are provided by a staff comprised of professionals from a variety of backgrounds related to their respective program areas.

I serve as head of strategic communications at the Austin-based Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation. I'm also principal at Gray Suit, a consulting practice using strategic communications to achieve viability for for-profit, nonprofit, and philanthropic organizations.At CGMF, I drive communication strategies advancing the foundation and its programs, focusing on environmental conservation, water, sustainable energy, Galveston Island, social justice, and legacy issues. I also provide capacity for select grantees. From 2011 to 2024, I guided CGMF's strategic communications practices as a consultant, developing and implementing the foundation's comprehensive strategy and communications framework.

Our mission at Lifeline Chaplaincy is to provide compassionate support to the seriously ill, their families and caregivers, and to be an educational resource for crisis ministry. We provide care in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Temple, and Waco hospitals.
