AARC, Inc. is a Texas nonprofit corporation formed in 2006 to support the construction and operation of the City of Austin Asian American Resource Center (Facility). Phase I of the Facility was completed in 2013. Located on 15 acres of public land at 8401 Cameron Road, the Facility is a municipal bond project of the City of Austin, approved by Austin voters in 2006.

Additionally, LMC is Chest Pain Accredited Cycle V with PCI from the American College of Cardiology and is accredited as an MBSAQIP for its Bariatric Program, the first hospital in Laredo to achieve the Center for Excellence designation for this program. The hospital also is home to the largest Emergency Center in the community with an Advanced Level III Trauma Designation.
