Today, the Barber National Institute offers a complete range of services that includes early intervention for infants and toddlers, an inclusive preschool, an Autism Center of Excellence, an approved private school, job training and placement, residential options including community group homes, lifesharing and supported living programs, in-home services, specialized therapies and behavioral therapy, a creative arts program and a retirement center.

Reed Children’s Center has been known and respected for high quality treatment of traumatized and "​ at risk"​ children throughout Erie County, the state of Pennsylvania, and beyond. Erie Homes for Children and Adults (EHCA) is a private non-profit agency that has been serving the most vulnerable people in the Erie region for over 100 years. Our mission is to assist people with disabilities to live rich and fulfilling lives. We believe that each person with a disability should have the opportunity to make choices, to contribute to his or her own daily lifestyle, to obtain the best education/training available, and to enjoy a home-like atmosphere with quality caregivers. EHCA offers residential and community services in 18 community homes and six community programs for individuals of all ages and all levels of disability. We serve over 400 individuals throughout three Pennsylvania counties each day.

Brevillier Village is a multi-phase retirement community sponsored by the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul in Erie, Pennsylvania, a church of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern PA and is dedicated to serving the continuing needs of older adults. The Village is located on a 20+ acres of lakefront property known as the Brevillier Estate. Located five miles east of downtown Erie, it is bounded on the north by Lake Erie and on the south by East Lake Road. The history of Brevillier Village has been shaped by four major influences: The Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul, the Episcopal Brothers of St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia, the Brevillier Family, and the Ball Family. The facilities of Brevillier Village include Ball Pavilion, an 85-bed skilled nursing facility, Conrad House, an 8-story independent living highrise apartment building, Barnabas Court North a 35-bed secured dementia unit, Barnabas Court South Personal Care independent apartments, and the St. Barnabas Chapel and Education Center. The Rouse Estate, a nonprofit organization, offers services in each of our different facilities to individuals that allow us to care for all generations. The Rouse Home is a skilled nursing care facility providing highly trained staff and offers its services in an assortment of ways. Whether it's rehabilitative or short-term, long-term or respite stay, we provide care that suits each individual's needs. Our personal care home, Suites at Rouse, encourages individuals to be as independent as possible, but our dedicated staff is always here to provide assistance for those times when a helping hand is necessary. Whether it's preparing for the day or assisting with medication management, our staff gladly provides services to ensure that you continue to live safely and comfortably on your own. A full range of personal care services has been created to help maintain your health and wellness so that you live as independently as possible. Both facilities, as well as the public, have access to Rouse Rehab. Our dedicated physical therapy team focuses on improving your movement, strength and mobility to restore, maintain and promote your best physical function through a wide array of specialized services. We also offer adult day services at Bridges at Rouse. Our daytime program offers families an opportunity to “take a break” from daily caregiving responsibilities and allows the individuals for whom we care to remain at home for as long as possible. To care for all generations at the Rouse our Children’s Center is our Keystone STARs facility that is a top rated 4 out of 4 star program that provides planned, developmentally appropriate activities in the following areas: gross motor, fine motor, math, science, social studies, language, and creative arts. We accept children ages one through 12.

By bringing comprehensive healthcare services to underserved regions, we can help overcome barriers such as limited access to healthcare facilities, shortages of healthcare professionals, and transportation difficulties. Additionally, our program can alleviate the financial burdens associated with healthcare costs for seniors in these areas, ensuring they receive the necessary care without facing financial hardships. Through our community-based approach, we can also tackle social isolation and loneliness often experienced by seniors in rural settings, fostering a sense of belonging and providing much-needed social support. Together, we strive to eliminate healthcare disparities and improve the well-being of seniors in rural and Appalachian areas, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
