For sixty years, our people have been making the difference for truck and farm customers across eastern North Carolina and southern Virginia. The fact that our customers utilize our products and services to earn a living brings purpose to the role that each of our employees fills every, with the ultimate goal being to exceed our customers' expectations on a daily basis. In 1953, Laurence Lilley, Sr., along with several partners, purchased the local International Harvester dealership in Williamston, N. C. Martin Tractor and Truck Co., our business name in those days, catered to local farmers and truck perators with the full IH product line. Since that time our company has realized significant growth and changed our name to Lilley International, Inc., but stayed with the quality and durability of the International and Case IH brands. To broaden our primary product offerings and meet the needs of a changing customer base, we added the #1 import truck brand, Isuzu, and a number of trailer lines. Today, two members of the Lilley family work in the dealership, representing 58 years of experience in the truck and farm equipment business. Laurence Lilley, Jr., and Jim Lilley fill the roles of President and Vice President for the company. Founder, Laurence Lilley, Sr., passed away in 2009 after 56 active years in the dealership leaving a legacy of innovative leadership and a deep appreciation for the customers and employees with whom he built relationships in those many decades of business. Our family is proud of those 60 years that we have dedicated to our customers and employees. We are also very proud and appreciative of those employees who have helped us thrive during that period. Eastern North Carolina must face many challenges in the coming years in order to remain a viable, economically healthy region. The employees and ownership at Lilley International are committed to this region and look forward to doing our part to help our community meet those challenges.
