As a Project Manager for Granite Construction Company, Tom moved to the area and oversaw the construction of the Aberdeen Lock and Dam built on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. After the project was complete, Tom settled in Aberdeen, Mississippi where he began Eutaw.
