• Manage wheel assembly operations as EOP (Extension of Plant) to Warren Trucks Assembly Plant, Jefferson North Assembly Plant, Dodge Viper Plant and Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, an initial team of 141 hourly production associates, supervisors, quality managers, maintenance managers, maintenance crews, materials managers and a host of other office personal including materials coordinators and office administrators.
• Responsible for over $16.5M of new line equipment and over $7M in customer material.
• Lead cross-functional teams in manufacturing techniques to maximize KPI's (Key Process Indicators).
• Teach scrap reduction principles.
• Major Accomplishments:
• Transitioned Oakley Warren, the worst performing plant of Oakley's, to Flagship status.
• Avoided plant closure which was scheduled to close within a year of 3-2015 which had over 141 major PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) problems.
• Successfully reduced scrap from $33K per month to less than $3K annually.
• Successfully lead teams in acquiring IATF16949 with active full on quality management system.
• Acquired the FCA Outstanding Quality Award of 2017.
