KRS also has a 24,000 sq. ft. locomotive repair ship with elevated tracks and full drop table that is available to handle contract locomotive repair. KRS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Maine & Quebec Railway. Being part of and located on the railway allows KRS to be able to handle inbound and outbound unit trains or can store single cars waiting to assemble into an outbound unit train. We also have local scrap/recycling customers located on our rail to handle all your scrapping needs.
