The purpose of Audubon Nature Institute is to celebrate the wonders of nature by creating a family of museums and parks dedicated to the natural environment. Audubon family consists of: Audubon Park and Riverview, Audubon Zoo, Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Insectarium, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Audubon Louisiana Nature Center, Freeport McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center, Audubon Wilderness Park, and Audubon Nature Institute. To achieve its goals and objectives, Audubon Nature Institute employs numerous individuals in many different areas of each facility with vast multitudes of skills and experiences. Each job is important to the overall success of the operation of Audubon Nature Institute.

The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world—why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today—so that all generations will understand the price of freedom and be inspired by what they learn. Offering a compelling blend of sweeping narrative and poignant personal detail, The National WWII Museum features immersive exhibits, multimedia experiences, and an expansive collection of artifacts and first-person oral histories, taking visitors inside the story of the war that changed the world. Beyond the galleries, the Museum's online collections, virtual field trips, webinars, educational travel programs, and renowned International Conference on World War II offer patrons new ways to connect to history and honor the generation that sacrificed so much to secure our freedom.

The Historic New Orleans Collection is a museum, research center, and publisher dedicated to the study and preservation of the history and culture of New Orleans and the Gulf South region. General and Mrs. L. Kemper Williams, collectors of Louisiana materials, established the institution in 1966 to keep their collection intact and available for research and exhibition to the public. Over the 40 years since its founding, The Historic New Orleans Collection has added to its holdings and augmented the physical structures that house them, established ambitious publishing and exhibition schedules, and developed innovative educational programs.

New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), New Orleans’ oldest fine arts institution, opened on December 16, 1911 with only 9 works of art. Today, the museum hosts an impressive permanent collection of almost 40,000 objects. The five-acre Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA is one of the most important sculpture installations in the United States, with over 60 sculptures situated on a beautifully landscaped site amongst meandering footpaths, reflecting lagoons, Spanish moss-laden 200-year-old live oaks, mature pines, magnolias, camellias, and pedestrian bridges.

At the Mississippi Children’s Museum, we take fun seriously! With a focus on early childhood learning through play and discovery, MCM offers exciting educational experiences for children and families. Our museum is 50,000 square feet of fun with 30,000 square feet of exhibit space designed around the five themes of health and nutrition, literacy, science and technology, and Mississippi heritage. These experiences serve to prepare children for school, build 21st century skills and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is a nationally accredited art museum located in historic Ocean Springs on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Since its founding in 1991, WAMA has been a keystone of the state’s cultural life. WAMA is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of artist-philosopher Walter Inglis Anderson (1903-1965). Walter Anderson’s paintings, drawings, murals, block prints, sculpture, carvings, and writings of coastal plants, animals, landscapes, and people have placed him among the most compelling and singular artists of the 20th century. WAMA also honors Anderson's brothers, Peter Anderson (1901-1984), master potter and founder of Shearwater Pottery; and James McConnell Anderson (1907-1998), noted painter and ceramist. WAMA's mission is to empower lifelong curiosity & connection to the natural world through the art of Walter Inglis Anderson and kindred artists.
