Kentucky Rural Water member utilities guarantee an enhanced quality of life for nearly ninety-five percent (95%) of the public drinking water and wastewater customers across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, making KRWA the largest utility organization of the state. KRWA was established in 1979 as a private, non-profit organization by a core group of utility leaders who shared the vision of building a self-governed, member driven association. Their original goal – to foster professionalism in our industry through non-regulatory training, technical assistance programs, and advocacy – continues to this day.

Steamfitters Local 342 was chartered into the United Association of Journeyman and Apprentices in the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada in 1914. It began with twenty-one charter members who sought a shorter work-day, wage increases, and better working conditions. Those original members endured adverse conditions that are well documented in the history of the American Labor Movement. What started as a small band of steamfitters grew to encompass workers in the welding, pipeline, refrigeration, and plumbing trades. The acquisition of these skilled trades came by way of mergers with other UA locals, including Plumbers Local 444 in 1994, and helped to establish one of the strongest examples of a combination local. We are proud of our humble beginnings and strive to maintain the highest standard of excellence.

The Memorial Foundation, Inc. exists to promote awareness of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial located in Washington, DC and its tenets of democracy, justice, hope, and love as well as to support the general upkeep of the Memorial in future years.

The Armed Services Mutual Benefit Association (ASMBA) is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive, affordable insurance coverage to military personnel and their families. Membership in ASMBA is FREE and includes $3,000 FREE Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, plus eligibility to enroll in a variety of low-cost insurance programs. All members of the United States Armed Forces are eligible to apply for membership while on active duty or still serving in the Reserves (including IRR) or National Guard. All retired members of the United States Armed Forces who are under the age of 65 are also eligible to apply for membership in ASMBA. Cadets or midshipmen at the United States service academies, in advanced ROTC, or on ROTC scholarship, and all officer candidates within 24 months of commissioning through other programs are eligible for membership in ASMBA.
