For more than two decades, Baker’s School of Nursing has built healthy communities by educating exceptional nurses. In partnership with Stormont Vail Health, a Magnet®-designated hospital for nursing excellence in Topeka, Kansas, the bachelor of science in nursing program is known for its rigorous curriculum, early immersion into clinical settings, and outstanding licensure exam pass rates. Baker’s School of Nursing also offers an online Master of Science in Nursing program geared toward shaping the next generation of nursing administrators and educators.

For more than a century, the K-State Alumni Association has been serving Kansas State University’s alumni, friends, parents, faculty, staff and students who make up the Wildcat Community. K-State alumni are among the most loyal in the nation. Membership in the Alumni Association ranks it in the top five in the nation for percentage of graduates who are members. The Instructional Coaching Group (ICG), led by Jim Knight and his colleagues, has been studying instructional coaching for more than two decades. The goal of that research and of the broader work of ICG is that every student receives excellent instruction, every day, in every class. Our research has helped us identify several factors that are essential for developing and sustaining a great coaching program. We help people in organizations learn and implement these factors, habits, and strategies through workshops, coaching, consulting, and other forms or support.

Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG), establisthed in 1980, is a nonprofit youth development program dedicated to helping young people graduate from high school and make successful transitions to postsecondary education and meaningful employment. JAG has served over 1.5 million youth since its inception and is currently helping 76,000+ young people across 1,550 locations in 40 states to achieve academic, career and life success. By identifying students with significant challenges to success, JAG seeks to help the young people through a comprehensive youth development program, addressing both the cognitive and non-cognitive needs of each individual participant. The curriculum, designed to help students master employability competencies, remediate in academic subjects and formulate strategies for gaining entry to postsecondary institutions or employment is delivered by teachers who are employed by a JAG state Affiliate 501(c)(3) or by the agency the state has chose to administer the program.

The Kansas Research and Education Network (KANREN) is a non-profit consortium of colleges, universities, school districts and other organizations in Kansas, organized for the purpose of facilitating communication among them, and providing themselves with connectivity to the Internet via a statewide TCP/IP network.
