The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) fights for bold and creative solutions to the pollution that plagues the Bay and its tributaries. Across the six-state Chesapeake watershed, CBF sets the agenda, serves as a watchdog, and speaks out on behalf of the Chesapeake Bay to business, government, and the public. CBF fights for strong and effective laws and regulations and works cooperatively with government, business, and citizens in partnerships to protect and restore the Bay. When necessary, we use legal means to force compliance with existing laws. We restore the Bay's essential habitats and filtering mechanisms, such as forests, wetlands, underwater grasses, and oysters, through a variety of hands-on projects. Finally, CBF's environmental education program introduces residents to the wonders of the watershed and works to heighten sensitivity, increase knowledge, and empower citizens to take positive action toward the Bay's restoration.

Ocean Pines is located approximately eight miles inland from the ocean resort town of Ocean City, and is home to 12,000 full-time and 8,000 part-time residents. The community features over nine miles of waterfront property on 3,000 acres of wooded areas, with plenty of amenities including restaurants, shops, and extensive recreation facilities. The community also has easy access to a variety of cultural, recreational, shopping, and business activities in Ocean City and along Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The American Boat & Yacht Council, ABYC, was created in 1954 as a non-profit organization to develop safety standards for the design, construction, equipage, repair and maintenance of boats. The mission of ABYC is to improve boating safety and reduce the number of injuries and fatalities. Membership is recommended and rewarded.

Mid Shore Behavioral Health (MSBH) is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) regional core serving agency serving the five counties of Maryland's mid-shore: Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot. Our primary responsibility is for community planning, management, and monitoring of publicly funded medically necessary mental health services in the five-county region for consumers across the life span: children, adolescents, adults and the aging population. MSBH’s mission is to continually improve the provision of behavioral health services for residents of Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot Counties through effective coordination of care in collaboration with consumers, their natural support systems, providers and the community at large.

Responsibilities included, program development, volunteer recruitment, and establishing weekend events. • Conceived and managed student leadership program and mentored youths between the ages of 11 and 18 years old. • Devised student confidence and morale–building activities, and facilitated summer Intern program. • Chosen to speak at the Youth Tract Conference and event programs. • Grew weekly attendance through networking, relationship building, and program development.
