West Point’s competitive sports programs support the Army values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage. It is designed to teach these values in an athletic setting. The New York Islanders Hockey Club LP operates as a professional hockey team that plays in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League.
