The Riverstone Bank brand was introduced in early 2021, when we brought together two long-standing community banks, Tri Valley Bank of Talmage, NE, and Eagle State Bank of Eagle, NE. As a result of the merger, we gained increased lending capabilities and the ability to keep pace with the most advanced online and mobile banking systems. November 5, 2021 brought forth another positive move forward, as we officially merged with Riverstone Bank of Eagle, NE. Riverstone Bank is a Nebraska community bank specializing in agricultural, business, and personal banking. As a full-service financial institution, we can provide everything from checking, savings and CD accounts to loans and investment programs. In 2021, we merged with First State Bank with locations in Scottsbluff & Gering, NE, Cheyenne & Laramie, WY and Colorado Springs, CO. Giving Riverstone Bank 9 locations in 3 states to serve our customers. Our Independent insurance agency, Classic One Insurance, is able to write policies in Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota. Riverstone Bank has a long and dedicated history in the communities it has served and will continue to offer that same level of dedication and commitment through the coming years. Riverstone Bank's legacy extends back to 1884, when the original charter was issued in Talmage, NE. The Eagle Branch opened its doors in 1974, and we’ve had a presence in Syracuse, NE, since 2019. While a great deal has changed over the years, our commitment to serving local people and growing Nebraska communities remains the same today as it was back then. Riverstone Bank is fully owned by Nebraskans who care about helping our state’s economy prosper. Through long-term customer relationships and referrals, and with the support of knowledgeable personnel, Riverstone Bank has grown from assets of $100,000 in 1935 to 487 Million as of November 5, 2021.. We have the strength and stability to serve all your needs today, tomorrow, and in the future!

EL POMAR FOUNDATION
EL POMAR FOUNDATION
Colorado Springs, Colorado
All Size Average employees
El Pomar is a general purpose foundation, which means the trustees approve grants across a broad spectrum of focus areas, including: arts and culture, civic and community initiatives, education, health, and human services. Since 1937, trustees of the Foundation have approved nearly 12,600 grants totaling more than $431 million to benefit the state of Colorado. Currently, El Pomar contributes more than $20 million annually through grants to nonprofit organizations and government equivalents across Colorado. When grant dollars alone are not the solution, El Pomar Foundation creates and operates programs that encourage leadership and promote community development. While each program is different, the collective goal is to create an environment where communities thrive. Spencer Penrose was an entrepreneur and a visionary. Mr. Penrose's approach was straightforward: build for tomorrow. He did this in two ways. In a literal sense, he helped create some of Colorado Springs' most famous landmarks, The BROADMOOR, a world-class resort in the foothills of Colorado's Rocky Mountains, the Pikes Peak Highway and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Penrose's second approach to building for tomorrow began in 1937 when he and his wife Julie established a living legacy, El Pomar Foundation. Mr. Penrose left the majority of his estate to El Pomar upon his death in 1939. Julie Penrose succeeded her husband as El Pomar president and served in that position with a generous and indomitable spirit. She left the majority of her estate to El Pomar in 1956. As El Pomar eagerly continues its journey into tomorrow, its direction comes from its past. Spencer and Julie Penrose's lives, as they lived them, provide the principles that will continue to guide their foundation now and in the future.
