We've developed our own ranches as well as helped family farmer producers throughout Northern California develop farm acreage into olive orchards using sustainable production methods every step of the way. In addition to our California farmer partners, we proudly partner with the best extra virgin olive oil producers in some of the best olive growing regions around the world. Our global partners share our values of sustainable farming practices, premium production methods, and state-of-the-art storage. All our extra virgin olive oils are certified by Applied Sensory and our California lines additionally uphold the Olive Oil Commission of California (OOCC) standards, one of the strictest in the world. In 2015, we acquired Lucini Italia, a brand of premium extra virgin olive oils, artisanal vinegars and organic tomato sauces handcrafted in Italy. The addition of Lucini Italia launched a new chapter for us to deliver premium foods beyond extra virgin olive oil.

The California Climate and Agriculture Network (CalCAN) is a coalition of sustainable agriculture and farmer member groups. We advance policies that support sustainable agricultural solutions to a changing climate. Agriculture can play a constructive role in responding to the climate crisis by reducing its carbon footprint and thus help to ensure the long-term viability and security of our food and farming system. Our Program Areas Farmer Education & Outreach - Providing resources to farmers and ranchers on the impacts of climate policy on California agriculture, and the science of the climate benefits of organic and sustainable practices. Network Building - Expanding the CalCAN network of farmers, scientists, government agency staff, and advocates to cultivate communication and understanding of agricultural solutions to climate change. Policy Initiatives - Advancing policy initiatives that improve agricultural research as well as technical and financial assistance to farmers and ranchers to support climate-friendly farming and its multiple economic and environmental benefits.

From the Napa Valley to the High Sierra’s grazing in wide-open spaces, practicing holistic management, low stress handling and exceptional quality care, Five Dot Ranch and the Swickard family are committed to providing the best tasting beef California has to offer. We are passionate about the environment and raising our cattle symbiotically with the many different species of wildlife and native plants in California. Our highly skilled management team has focused on developing a quality Angus cattle herd, and a four season breeding program to synchronize the cows nutritional requirements with the forage available. Currently grazing cattle in seven different counties in Northern California allows us to match the cattle to the best grasses at the most optimal time of the year. Since we are able to move cattle according to the feed sources throughout the state our cattle remain 94-97% grass fed throughout the year. In order to provide the same quality of beef year-round we have also developed a short term feeding program to complete the cycle which combines hay grown on our ranches and a feed ration that keeps the cattle in the best health possible prior to harvest. Every animal that goes into our program is hand selected for harvest based on their performance and conditioning. We feel that this unique program allows us to provide a consistent product that meets our own personal quality standards and our ultimate goal of providing the consumer with the best tasting beef available.
