When we began Berkeley Mills in 1988, we had disparate backgrounds and experiences in woodworking, but we shared a common goal: to make furniture and kitchens of such enduring design and quality that it transforms one's surroundings by adding sophistication, serenity, beauty and comfort to the environment. We admired the aesthetic of artists such as Morris, Stickley, Greene and Wright; and appreciated its affinity with classic Asian designs. So we decided that Berkeley Mills would create a new fusion of East and West that balances purity of line with functional purpose.

I actively applied a systematic needs analysis process to identify and assess performance gaps for clients of various sizes, ranging from 10 employees to 1500 employees. I strategized, conceived, constructed, executed, and assessed solutions that effectively targeted and resolved these performance gaps. Simultaneously, I fostered increased employee engagement and cultivated a culture of continuous learning within the organizations. Taking charge, I orchestrated departmental structures to establish efficient and cohesive teams that seamlessly aligned with the overarching business goals, mission, vision, and values. •Improved learning transfer and performance outcomes by employing diverse methods, such as video production, manual creation, and e-learning modules, to craft engaging media and interactive learning solutions. •Facilitated compliance with state and federal regulations, while empowering both management and employees to take ownership of their individual development journeys. •Determined and defined core competencies and role expectations to enhance employee productivity, quality of work, and overall morale. •Constructed and deployed cutting-edge learning management system, enhancing the organization's learning and development capabilities. •Crafted a comprehensive curriculum focused on adaptive technology for a state government.
