The Israeli-American Council (IAC) is the largest Israeli-American organization in the Unites States, serving this vibrant sector of American society. IAC’s effectiveness and success is the direct result of its ability to organize, activate, and engage the Israeli-American community nationwide. The IAC strives to achieve these goals through programs and events for all ages, as well as by empowering and sponsoring a wide array of non-profit organizations within the Israeli-American community. OUR GOALS Encourage a culture of giving, activism, and connection to Israel through personal examples of community involvement. Connect the next generation to the community, their Jewish identity, the Hebrew language, and the State of Israel. Foster active support of initiatives that further Israel’s welfare, security, education and its relations with the United States. Translate the Israeli-American community’s needs, desires, and values into action and a strong and influential voice. Serve as a professional and financial resource for initiatives that support the development of an active and unified Israeli-American community with strong connections to the State of Israel, now and in the future. Strengthen the relationships between the Israeli-American community and the Israeli community in Israel. Build bridges between the Israeli-American and Jewish American communities in the United States.

Our mission is to deliver hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry. For thirty years, Children’s Hunger Fund has been equipping local churches here in the US and in 29 Mercy Network countries around the world with food and other resources to serve children in need. Pastors and volunteers trained in relational mercy ministry deliver food and the hope of the gospel directly to the homes of children and families facing food insecurity and poverty. CHF partners with churches in Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Madagascar, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Peru, Philippines, Romania, Rwanda, South Africa, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, the United States, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Since 1954, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme has sought to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. With three full-service clubs, 13 school program sites and one housing site, the organization is one of the largest of its kind in California, serving 7,200 members annually. The group is also the first Boys & Girls Club of its kind to open a site inside a Juvenile Justice Center in the state of California. Program areas offered to youth include character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, technology and sports, fitness and recreation.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley founded in 2001 offers youth development programs to over 4,200 members, ages 3–14 at its nine (9) Clubs before and after school and during weekend youth sports leagues and summer camps. The Clubs are located on elementary and middle school campuses on long-term leases and joint use agreements with Conejo Valley and Las Virgenes Unified School Districts in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills and Calabasas. Club members come to us from across seven cities. There are plans to open additional facilities on elementary and middle school campuses throughout the next few years in the Conejo Valley and Las Virgenes Unified School Districts.

R.M. Pyles Boys Camp promotes long-term positive behavioral change for low-income, disadvantaged boys by providing a multi-year wilderness camp experience supplemented by year-round mentoring that builds life skills and instills the values of hard work, education, and positive choices

The Mission of the Boys & Girls Club of West Valley is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE WEST VALLEY: A Community Asset The Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley sits in a challenging neighborhood for a child to grow up in: More than 80% of our members are enrolled in the free and reduced-cost lunch programs. There are only two after-school programs within a one-mile radius of the Club. Out of the 2,900 members of the Boys & Girls Club of the West San Fernando Valley, more than 80 percent live in homes with an annual household income under $30,000. Thirty-seven percent of the Club’s children come from single-parent households. Organizations like the Boys & Girls Club are squeezed from two directions during challenging economic times: more young people are in desperate need of the Club’s services, while at the same time, financial donations to support its activities are more difficult to obtain than ever.

At Boys & Girls Club of Greater Ventura we take a deep sense of responsibility and honor looking out after our community’s young people. The time after school is just as important as in school when it comes to shaping a young persons’s future and that’s why we believe every moment counts. Especially, for a child to learn to become confident and trust their ability to overcome and rise to new challenges. Since 1938 our four Clubhouses, staff and volunteers have been dedicated to inspiring young people to become more and creating powerful moments that will shape their lives into the future.
