I worked the NOC position at Tender Loving Care (TLC), where I assisted adults that have mental illnesses or traumatic brain injuries learn independent living skills, in hopes that they could move out of a group home and live independently. My responsibilities included teaching clients independent living skills, administering medications to clients, helping clients with their finances, transporting clients to activities provided by TLC, tracking clients' nutrition, taking clients into the community on shadowed independence activities, and helping clients with budgeting and shopping.
