Insight Human Services is a behavioral health services non-profit dedicated to providing understanding. Founded in 1970, originally as the Council on Drug Abuse, Insight is CARF accredited and serves more than 50 counties across central and western North Carolina. Our staff of more than 200 strive to offer the highest quality care to reduce the negative impacts of substance misuse and mental illness in the communities we serve.

New River Community Action is a non-profit organization working hand-in-hand with community groups to address local conditions of poverty in the New River Valley (Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Radford, and Pulaski), Virginia. We work with our community's most vulnerable residents including the homeless and ex-offenders. We also offer programs to low-income families with young children. We serve about 12,000 New River Valley residents each year. We are part of a network of approximately 1,000 community action agencies nationwide and we recently celebrated our 50th anniversary!

Crisis Control Ministry's mission is to assist people in crisis to meet essential life needs and to become self-sufficient. We believe that food, shelter, and medicine are basic human needs and that we can meet the needs of people in Forsyth County who are in crisis and dealing with unfortunate circumstances. As a trusted resource since 1973, we serve residents of our community and provide over $3 million worth of services annually.

Our mission is to feed Southwest Virginia's hungry through a network of partners and engage our region in the fight to end hunger.
