Senior executive who manages the company's financial activities and is responsible for the company's financial health. Duties include:
Financial planning: Tracking cash flow, analyzing financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions
Financial reporting: Ensuring that financial reports are accurate and completed on time
Strategic planning: Creating strategic plans to improve the company's financial health
Risk management: Managing risks associated with cash, capital, and strategy
Communication: Communicating with the Owners and Managers, CPA Firm, Bank, Attorney, Insurance Companies, IT Company, Various State and Municipal Agencies, Vendors, and Customers
Team leadership: Leading the RIE team and modeling good financial and team-building practices for the rest of the organization.
Problem solving: Find solutions to challenges that affect daily operations or the profitability of the company.
Developing and improving systems, processes, controls, and procedures
Managing the Human Resources function
Forecasting
