Over time, ownership changed hands and the company diversified into product lines having similar materials and processing requirements. More recently, in 2008 selected assets of Hoffman Materials, Inc., were acquired and Hoffman Materials, LLC was formed. In 2009, the company purchased the crystal growth laboratory from the University of Central Florida, and formed Krystal Engineering, LLC.
