The Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) collaborates with individuals, organizations, and communities to bring transformational humanities programming into the lives of Minnesotans throughout the state. Using story as a catalyst, we produce, create, and support projects and programs that explore a range of subjects. Founded in 1971, MHC is an independent nonprofit affiliated with and supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities. MHC is also a grantmaking organization and operates a full-service event center in a historic building on St. Paul’s East Side.

CaringBridge is a no-cost, 501(c)(3) nonprofit health platform that surrounds family caregivers with support while they care for a loved one on a health journey. A donor-supported nonprofit founded in 1997, the organization offers tools to share and document a health journey, simplify care coordination, and connect caregivers with a supportive community.

Since 1993, BWJP has worked to improve the civil and criminal justice system’s response to intimate partner violence (IPV), as well as addressing the parallel responses of the military services to IPV among their ranks. BWJP offers training, technical assistance, policy analysis, and consultation on the most promising practices of the criminal and civil justice systems in addressing intimate partner violence. Staff members have particular expertise in assisting jurisdictions around the country to implement coordinated interagency responses to IPV that maximize victim safety and offender accountability.

Providers Choice Inc. is a sponsor of the United States Department of Agriculture's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Since 1985, our mission has been to "support the child care professional"​. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to supporting child care providers and child care center staff in their efforts to create nurturing environments to serve nutritious meals to participating children. As part of our sponsorship, our members receive annual food training and attend conferences and workshops. In addition, we also offer an array of materials that encourage and enhance opportunities for physical activities. In Minnesota, CACFP is managed by the Minnesota Department of Education. In turn, the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) contracts with nonprofit organizations called sponsors. Providers Choice proudly serves the entire state of Minnesota. We are the largest CACFP sponsor in Minnesota and the country, serving over 4,500 members. We’re known for our friendly and experienced staff, innovative technology and software, quality training and resources, and recipes and curriculum.

Alia’s mission is to equip and transform systems to create conditions for children and families to thriven. Our current system is designed to keep youth from physical harm. We now know that children cannot thrive without also healing the grief and loss that come after separation from a caregiver, and the wellbeing of caregivers has direct impact on this healing process. Mission Women’s Advocates walks with victim/survivors and our community to break the cycle of domestic violence. Introduction Women’s Advocates is a safe place where victims/survivors of all backgrounds and cultures can escape domestic violence and begin to heal. We offer shelter, meals, clothing, transportation, personal needs items, counseling, support, advocacy, referrals, crisis phone, and other basic services to women and their children daily. Today, Women’s Advocates provides shelter and services to an average of 50 women and children daily, helps dozens of callers to the crisis line daily, and educates students and professionals about domestic abuse prevention and services. History Women’s Advocates, Inc. was one of the first shelters in the nation for women and children escaping domestic violence. In 1972, a phone crisis line for women seeking divorce or safety was created by volunteers in Saint Paul. Soon after, these women opened the first official shelter for domestic violence victims in a Victorian home on Grand Avenue. Women’s Advocates has since grown to three connected houses with 24/7 staff providing basic needs, advocacy, counseling, and resources. Women’s Advocates has been a national leader for other safety efforts by generating awareness, funding, and programs for abuse survivors and their families.

Our vision is to transform people and communities by providing safety, health, permanence and hope to children infant to age six and their families. For over 40 years Casa donors, board, volunteers, and staff have committed to giving families in crisis resources and support. We offer voluntary Foster Care, Support and Case Management for birth parents and reunited families, and Post-Permanency support services. The goal of our programs is to create a continuum of care for our families; ensuring they can always count on Casa de Esperanza to be there for them.
