AGC Houston's services are developed by contractors and industry professionals who know first-hand what is needed to make a project successful for the owner and other members of the team. Being able to tap into the hundreds of AGC services (local, state and national) allows member firms to devote their attention to the project without having to invent their own solutions to common problems. This is to the AGC member's advantage that transfers to the project and the owner. AGC Houston, one of 100 chapters nationwide, has 1,000 members consisting of general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and service firms. Nationally, AGC represents more than 33,000 firms, including 7,500 of America's leading general contractors, and 12,000 specialty-contracting firms.
