Established in 1972, Pivot, A Turning Point for Youth, works with young people lacking stability in their lives. These young people are often homeless or couch homeless, alone or disengaged. Almost all are ages 12 to 24 and have overwhelming barriers in their lives without the resources to overcome them and successfully transition into self-reliant adults. Pivot is committed to long-term impact in the lives of the youth we serve. We provide programs and services that focus on meeting housing and basic needs; education and job assistance; mentoring and life skills development; prevention and intervention services; and therapeutic care including mental health and substance abuse care. We believe that regardless of the circumstances from which young people come or the obstacles they face, they deserve access to educational and vocational opportunities, a stable and safe place to live, healthy permanent connections and overall well-being. *Formerly Youth Services for Oklahoma County.

Hope is Alive is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fosters radical life changes for addicts, alcoholics, and those who love them. We specialize in assisting with substance abuse recovery, alcoholism recovery, and other addiction treatments with cohesive, comprehensive programs. Our program advocates for the complete rehabilitation of those struggling with substance abuse disorders through a structured sober living home mentorship program. HIA provides superior home environments that are conducive to reconstructing positive behavioral emotional and mental patterns. Residents discover leadership, financial, interpersonal, spiritual, social, and familial skills too. We encourage the rediscovery of their identities beyond their pains, practices, and problems incurred by substance abuse. Additionally the nonprofit provides help to the loved ones of alcoholics and drug addicts through Finding Hope support groups. These groups help individuals learn how to cope with their loved one’s addictions, alcoholism, and ensuing dilemmas. Substance abuse does not affect only the individual. It affects families, communities, and cities around the world.
