A museum and independent research library located in the heart of New York City, the Morgan Library & Museum began as the personal library of financier, collector, and cultural benefactor Pierpont Morgan. Liberty Science Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting learners of all ages excited about the power, promise, and pure fun of science and technology. We are located in Liberty State Park on the Jersey City bank of the Hudson near the Statue of Liberty. The Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium (the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere), a 3D theater, live simulcast surgeries, tornado and hurricane-force wind simulators, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than half a million students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center's offsite and online programs. Founded in honor of Benjamin Franklin, The Franklin Institute is a museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and one of the oldest and premier centers of science education and development in the United States. It also houses the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial. Welcome to the Jewish Museum, a museum on New York City’s Museum Mile at the intersection of art and Jewish culture for people of all backgrounds. Founded in 1904, the Museum was the first institution of its kind in the United States and one of the oldest Jewish museums in the world. The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) is a nonprofit membership organization founded in 1827. PHS connects people with horticulture, and together we create beautiful, healthy and sustainable communities. PHS produces the annual Philadelphia Flower Show, a tradition dating back to 1829 that attracts approximately 250,000 visitors each year and has a $61 million economic impact on the region. Revenue from the Flower Show supports PHS's urban greening initiatives, including PHS City Harvest and the Plant One Million tree campaign.

The Paley Center for Media, with locations in New York and Los Angeles, leads the discussion about the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, radio, and emerging platforms for the professional community and media-interested public. Established in 1974, Dia Art Foundation is internationally recognized as one of the world's most influential contemporary art institutions. The name "Dia," taken from the Greek word meaning "through," was chosen to suggest the institution's role in enabling visionary artistic projects that might not otherwise be realized because of their scale or ambition. Dia's founders, Heiner Friedrich and Philippa de Menil, wished to extend the boundaries of the traditional museum to respond to the needs of the generation of artists whose work matured and became prominent during the 1960s and 1970s. Ever since, Dia's mission has been to commission, support, and present site-specific long-term installations and single-artists exhibitions to the public.

The High Line is both a nonprofit organization and a public park on the West Side of Manhattan.
