The Nebraska Association of School Boards is a private, nonprofit organization that serves the needs of Nebraska’s public schools. Since 1918, NASB has been committed to serving school boards across the state. A TeamMates mentor is a cheerleader, an advocate, and a safe, adult friend. Thousands of students across the Midwest are waiting for a mentor to just simply be there for them. Over the last 30 years, TeamMates has served more than 43,000 youth across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Our program serves students grades 3-12 in their local schools. Students pursuing a post-secondary education such as colleges and trade schools can also benefit from a mentor in our TeamMates+ program for additional support.
