NEW HORIZONS COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES is a mental health care company based out of 2013 WILLIAM STREET, JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri, United States.

The Missouri Alliance for Children and Families (MACF) was founded in 1997, when a group of non-profit agencies joined forces to develop an innovative system of care for children with severe emotional and behavioral needs. In October of 1998, MACF became the sole provider for the Missouri Interdepartmental Initiative for Children with Severe Needs Contract, with services provided to children at risk of long term residential treatment or other institutional placement. These services continue to date and include: *Smaller caseloads; *Weekly visits with youth; *Family finding and engagement; and *Targeted recruitment for foster homes to meet individual needs of older youth (average age of 16). Today MACF, a Limited Liability Partnership, is governed by five of Missouri’s most highly respected, not for profit, family and child serving agencies. Collectively, these agencies offer a wide spectrum of services designed to help children and families mitigate the trauma of abuse and neglect through treatment, case management, and a commitment to permanency. Coyote Hill exists to give children in foster care a safe place to be a child. We know safe children today make safe families tomorrow. We work to end child abuse & neglect in this generation. Coyote Hill has three areas of ministry: foster care services, a foster care community, and an equine program.

Finck Supported Living Services provides support to developmentally disabled individuals who live in individualized supported living homes (ISL), apartments, and natural homes. It serves consumers in Central Missouri--Mexico, Auxvasse, New Bloomfield, Arrow Rock and Sedalia. Finck Supported Living Services specializes in providing services to medically fragile and behaviorally challenged individuals.

The Independent Living Center is a private, non-residential, not-for-profit corporation devoted to meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities and to serving them, their families and communities. Our mission is to increase the independence of people with disabilities.

In March of 2020, I made the move inside the organization to Operations and Financial Manager. I felt that this was a position that uses my skill set to better use. As the Operations and Financial Manager, my responsibilities include:• planning and implementing strategic growth as part of a team• managing day-to-day business operations of the administrative office• placing people and services together • implementing multifaceted tasks involved with event planning • communicating with all stakeholders, vendors, volunteers, and clients• reconcile accounts, invoicing, accounts payable & receivable on a monthly basis• assisting and reporting directly to the Executive DirectorAccomplishments• Overseeing a major facilities renovation and expansion• Bringing up-to-date a significant backlog of irreconciled accounts to the satisfaction of auditors• Working with a team to re-design old fundraising events into successful first-time virtual events• Securing grant funding critical to the survival of the organization• Building budgets for funding opportunities

ACT is a Columbia, Missouri based organization that provides support to hundreds of individuals with disabilities throughout mid-Missouri. Our goal is to foster opportunities to members of our local community who seek inclusion and independence in their lives. Founded in 1975 out of a desire to achieve this within the Boone County community, ACT has evolved as an established CARF-accredited organization that continues to actively and effectively develop personalized services to meet the needs of children and adults with disabilities and their families.
