•Assist COO with analyzing business objectives, strategies, and polices; regularly review organization’s business plan and work with department managers on successful plan execution •Evaluate the effectiveness of corporate processes, procedures, and productivity (overall staffing levels, function profitability, appropriate asset allocation); implement changes when inefficiencies are discovered •Create and update internal process documentation and correspondence relating to member issues and compliance to the organization’s rules and bylaws •Monitor yearly and long-term strategic plan and overall progress of objectives; meet with department managers to assess set goals and develop strategies when targets are not being achieved •Research current trends and future business challenges; recommend how to properly manage them•Produce and analyze ad-hoc reports (membership and revenue projections, overall yearend profit/loss, cash flow forecasts) as requested by Board of Governors and management pertaining to the budget and policies•Responsible for producing, overseeing and maintaining all aspects of annual budget •Prepare and analyze monthly corporate financial statements and yearly financial auditsCoordinate financial planning and forecasting with managers of six separate departments•Participate in weekly meetings providing updates and pertinent information regarding corporate finances•Manage Accounting Assistant in daily operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and membership services•Supervise success of the marketing function and client relations development•Handle all payroll duties (employee payroll, filing quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, yearend W-2’s) and a majority of the human resource obligations (reporting to COBRA administrator, employee benefit plans, new employee orientation handbook, insurance renewal rates and proposals) for 130 employees • Maintain Basic IT functions
