The mission of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society. The MSPCA-Angell believes that all animals possess intrinsic value, independent of their relationships to or use by human beings. Furthermore, the MSPCA-Angell recognizes that the lives of all creatures–human and non-human–are inextricably intertwined; that our actions impact them and our fate is linked to theirs as interdependent inhabitants of the same planet. It is for these reasons that the MSPCA-Angell is dedicated to the protection of animals and the advancement of their welfare, and believes that these objectives represent legitimate and important areas for society’s ethical and legal concern. The MSPCA-Angell further recognizes that the fate of animals within our society is dependent upon the willingness of human beings to acknowledge the significance of their fellow creatures and to accept responsibility for their well-being. Consequently, the MSPCA-Angell also commits itself to the conduct of programs and activities designed to create an enlightened and compassionate citizenry that is actively concerned about protection of animals and the environment we all share.

AgeSpan, formerly Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, is a private nonprofit agency established in 1974 to help people in northeast Massachusetts maintain their highest levels of independence, health, and safety as they age. AgeSpan serves as a trusted resource, connecting people of all ages and abilities and their caregivers with impartial information, quality services, and vigorous advocacy to help them lead fulfilling lives in the community. AgeSpan is a designated federal Area Agency on Aging (AAA), a Massachusetts Aging Service Access Point (ASAP), and elder protective service agency.

Peace Care is a not for profit organization sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, where we strive to provide high-quality faith-based care to the members of our Jersey City community. Our two facilities, Peace Care St. Ann’s and Peace Care St. Joseph’s, have over 200 years’ combined experience in providing excellent long-term and short-term services for all our residents, including outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, adult day care, and residential care for the aged. Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to help young people, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. We do this by providing: - a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity - ongoing relationships with caring adults - life-enhancing programs We serve 14,000 children and teens, ages 6 to 18, in our Clubs, and through our programs and partnerships.

Tempus Unlimited exists to provide a continuum of community based services that support the efforts of children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. Through personal involvement, individual decision-making is supported and encouraged to enhance the control of a person over their own lives and foster self-sufficiency. The agency through its programs and services encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities into the mainstream of society including social, recreational, family and work activities.

GLSS is a non-profit agency established in 1976 to serve those over 60, adults of all ages with disabilities, and their families in Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant, Saugus, and Swampscott. Many of our programs reach beyond our five-town service area, helping people throughout the North Shore. We deliver over 200,000 “Meals on Wheels” to homes every year and serve an additional 140,000 meals at our 8 community cafés. We employ more than 200 trained staff and have many caring people who donate their time to help. We are a federal Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and also state certified as an Aging Services Access Point (ASAP). We are a founding member of the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium of the Greater North Shore (ADRC). We are part of the Mass Home Care network, a group of 30 non-profits dedicated to serving seniors in every city and town in Massachusetts, as well as the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4A), the umbrella organization for the 655 AAAs in the United States.
